JUAN MANSILLA

Juan Mansilla is a talented Baritone, composer, conductor and arranger of classical and popular music. He started his studies of Harmony and composition with a private tutor. He continued his studies of voice and Sound engineering in the Javeriana and El Bosque Universities in Colombia, along with private voice lessons. During several years in Colombia he participated in different productions with the most important choirs, Opera and Zarzuela companies in Bogotá. In 2008, he moved to the US and received a scholarship from Florida Atlantic University for his undergraduate and graduate studies in Vocal Performance and Composition. He graduated with honors from his Baccalaureate in 2011 and recently graduated from Master of Arts in Music degree. He has presented several recitals in Florida (U.S.A), Dhahran (Saudi Arabia) and Bogotá (Colombia) as soloist and choral soloist. In his next projects he will be traveling to Boston, MA to participate in the final round of the Classical Singer – Auditions plus competition, from which he won the Florida regionals. He will also travel in June to Saudi Arabia to perform selections from the Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber in the title character.
