Worship is Important

God is our primary focus in each worship service. We gather to give God the glory and praise due his Holy Name. Our Worship is user friendly and you will have no trouble feeling part of each service. Our Pastor's sermons are concise, uplifting, sprinkled with humor and helpful for our Christian journey. The music is varied and includes traditional and contemporary pieces that are executed with real joy and zest.

Great Music is Part of our Worship

Music and worship are central to the life of this church. Music not only inspires the heart and soul, but also leads the congregation into a deeper appreciation and understanding of the scriptures. Each worship service is carefully planned so that music and worship are interwoven together in a creative spirit. The ministry of music seeks and encourages talent within the congregation.

Chancel Choir – Our adult choir will share beautiful music and provide an added dimension to the worship services. Our choir rehearses Wednesday evenings at 7:15 PM. Perhaps you sang in the high school choir or community chorus and you would be willing to share your talents? Maybe you’re a professional and God is tugging at your heartstrings reminding you just who gave you those gifts? There’s lots of serious concentration mixed with lighthearted fun and fellowship.

Bell Choir – This incredible group meets at 6:15 PM on Wednesday evenings. Reading music is definitely helpful for this group, but not by any means required. The plan is to play once a month for our worship service and enjoy some little projects on the side. We’re going to love making a joyful noise to our God through this instrumental experience.

Mixed Ensembles – You will see and hear many configurations and voicing's sharing the special music spot in our worship service. Gifts and talents are to be used to the glory of God, but it’s up to the director to arrange them just right!

Instrumentalists – Many of our members and friends have unsung instrumental talents and we’d love nothing more than for you to share them in our service. Lots of talent lies dormant out there…practice…then let’s find a time appropriate for you to share your special talent.

Guest Musicians – Throughout the year, guest musicians are invited to lead us in the praise and worship of God: Choirs, Dancers, Instrumentalists, Vocalists, etc. Following are photos of recent guests: Nova Choir and Karen Schoenhals, guitarist.

Children's Time is an important part of worship.
